This album was first released as a CDR – SOS 33 1/3 – on "Save our sperms" and a year later on vinyl – as Go To LP 010 – on the norwegian label "Go To Gate Records". Pre-orders of this LP also receive a second volume of this project, called "[ v:st ] 2", a CDR – SOS 34 – on "Save our sperms".

About this album : It's our tribute to one of the best german bands of the seventies : FAUST. We covered four of their jewels, the track "W.O.C." means "Words on covers" and here Allen Smithee reads the story printed on the cover of the first Faust album.

About the cover : Count the fingers !
And it's stolen from an old and rare Virgin compilation called "V".

About the album title : We germans pronounce the letter "V" not like you english speaking people, we say "FAU", then add s/t and you get FAUST or "v:s/t" ... it makes sense !

And from now on everything sounds much better ... !!!
